I caved and got myself another right hand ring. It is a vintage 14K white gold ring with art deco detailing and a mine cut diamond in the center. It also has two marquise diamonds on either side and 10 other small round diamonds. The center diamond is estimated at .50 carats, H-I, SI1. I absolutely love it. I'm guessing it's from at least the 1920's, maybe earlier?? Not an expert, but I do love me some vintage.

It's beautiful :)

Very beautiful - the stones are so white! Looks very nice on your hand!

Very nice new bling!!! Looks to be in great condition, perfectly balanced on your hand and nice white diamonds! Congrats on a lovely new piece!

Thats beautiful! Are you sure its an old mine cut? Looks more like a OEC to me (its seems to refined for an OMC, to
round and the culet isnt that big).

Great find whatever it is!

Gorgeous! I'd be tempted by that, too.

Great find! I agree with tyty333 that it appears to be an OEC rather than an OMC. Very beautiful either way

HI:

Lovely piece!

cheers--Sharon

Oh wow, sooo beautiful!! Love the marquis stones, what a unique touch, I've never seen quite like it - enjoy it!

Gorgeous!

I had this ring in my "watch" folder and I remember that it was priced very reasonably. Great find! Enjoy it.

Very pretty! I have one that is similar!

Thanks everyone!! Yes, I'm not very familiar with older cuts, but I also thought it looked more refined, so maybe it is an OEC. I'm going to get an appraisal done next month on it, so hopefully more light will be shed. It does face up white and appears slightly yellower under certain lights and next to my E-ring. But I'm happy with it! I also think it may be larger than half a carat, or maybe it just has a larger girdle or table (sorry, not super familiar with all the technical names yet) :)

Beautiful! I love vintage pieces!!!

Beautiful!

This ring is divine! Love the detail in the setting. I agree with others, definitely looks to be an OEC. Also looks larger than .50 ct on your hand! Thanks for sharing.

Your ring is lovely! The detail up close is very pretty and the shape of the ring from afar looks great on your finger.

Very beautiful. I love vintage rings. I just had my grandmother's engagement ring restored and it is from the early 20's, maybe older. A jeweler should be able to give you an estimate on the age based on the setting. You can also look at various websites that sell antique engagement rings (that is most probably what this ring was intended as) and you will see similar settings and can estimate the age of your ring that way.

A couple more pictures....
