My new red AJS burmese spinel finally set!

I know a lot of you have been waiting to see these pictures and love the Mahenges but I think I did good with this Burmese red spinel (couldn't find any mahenges that I liked in my price range). Again it is hard to captures the glow and real redness of the spinel in the pictures for some images it looks pinker than what I see in real life.

Hi. Thank you for the compliment, It is actually a Burmese red spinel, but the fact you think it looks like a ruby makes me think I picked a good one . Though I didn't buy this spinel as a replacement for ruby, I love it as a beautiful red spinel.

I actually bought this setting from Mydiamondzone on ebay. They do have a real store in chicago though.

People on pricescope had open my eyes to how beautiful a red spinels are and how it should be appreciated, and I hope these pictures help spinels continue to be loved.

Hi. I had my local jeweler set it. I know it would have been cheaper to let DZ do it, but sending my stone through the mail makes me nervous lol, plus my jeweler has been setting rings for me for a while . My cousins live in Chicago so when the times comes to visit them ill be making a stop a DZ .
