Firstly, sorry for anyone expecting diamonds here, lol!

These are just a few pics I took of a new pendant/necklace I bought.
I love it, its so unusual and pretty - I know its probably not everyone''s taste, but thought I''d just share a lil anyways.
I have no idea what its made of, the girl at the shop didn''t know, but I guess some kinda crystal? Either way, it sparkles like mad!
I would love if any PS''ers can tell me what it is, and the best way to care for it (ie. US or no?)..

Thanks for looking!

Exactly what I thought. :)

It''s lovely... reminds me of Sacred Geometry & one of the Platonic Solids. Linkywoo.

Thanks guys!
I knew I could rely on PS''ers to "identify that material" lol.
Any advice Oobiecoo or cleo on how to care for it?

Ta for link Cleo, they had other ones like animals etc, but I really liked the prism shape of this one.

I''d be pretty careful with it as it might be glued. I wouldn''t put it in a dip, or ultrasonic. Probably just give it a gentle wipe with a silver cleaning cloth.

I bet you''ll get loads of comments on it! :)

Agreed. I looked up some info and it said not to use hot water and not to soak it because of the cement. I hope you enjoy it. It''s very unique!

Wow Arjunajane, your necklace looks like an exhibit at the MOMA. Very pretty; very different!

Snap Arjuna! My daughter wore this to a formal last month. Its Mimco right?
She wore a stunning sliver grey dress and wore this necklace and groovy Mimco P***and leather and crystal bracelet in soft grey. It looked stunning and so many people commented on her necklace.
She also is wearing it with jeans and tee shirts too and is looks great.
By the way it is marcasite

Arjuna, that is super cool! I like the pictures, but wasn''t expecting it to be so big when you wore it. Very cool and different.

OMG! Thats too cool Kate! Her outfit sounds stunning. Thats right its from Mimco, I'm really digging all their jewellery right now.

TY Oobiecoo for the info!

Thanks Tuckins, LIB and Somehowcollide - I think it actually looks bigger in the pic than it is, probably the angle

It looks like marcasite & sterling to me, they often combine the two. I think hematite is more charcoal. Very pretty and very unique- JUST LIKE YOU!!
