I am so happy that my hubby is FINALLY adding to my collection of goodies!! We just celebrated our 4th anniversary and although he orginally was going to buy me a new T.V. he saw the error of his ways and surprised me with this little beauty. Really the whole TV idea was quite funny, with him putting a picture of a plasma in my card. I of course turned the picture over, because surely a TV was not the plan...umm no the picture had a TV and only a TV. I tried my hardest to hide my disappointment, after all it is OUR anniversary, so off to Costco we went. Now we already have a 52" Plasma which is what my hubby watches his shows on and I will watch the few shows that I like on my 24" and I am perfectly content. Well he went directly over to the 58+ TV.. mmm.. what was his plan?? "Oh you want to get the 58" and hand me down the 52", that is an excellent idea, dear" LOL.. So we looked at all the options and then he went off to look at some other things and I went to look at the jewelry counter. I tried on 3 necklaces and absolutely fell in love with this one. My husband walked up and just laughed, saying he knew that is where he would find me.. Well, he went off to work and informed the women that he worked with that he was getting me a TV for our anniversary, yeah they laughed at that one, and well I think it made my husband think??
So a few days after our anniversary, yes days later I called my husband up in a panic!! You see my beautiful engagement ring has been falling apart and over the last couple of years I have come to terms with the fact that we will need to have it reset. My original jeweler who was a referral really did not do quality work so the bottom of my ring is bent and continues to do so. The resetting will be in a few years since I will upgrade into a more fabulous setting.... well I went to have my ring cleaned and the jeweler told me there is a crack in my setting, A CRACK.... well not only is it not quality, it just a piece of @$& a resetting is not an option so now what? okay so that is another story for another time.. so after I told my husband all of that he asked if we could have a date night, and what a date night it was!!! He took me to dinner and asked about my ring, he asked me what I would rather do, reset my ring or have that necklace.. well I considered this for a minute. The necklace was expensive, yes but not nearly as expensive as my new setting would be and well that kind of money is not available yet. Plus I can fix that crack for $80 and have that tie me over for the next 2 years.. so I said the necklace. Then he pulled out the necklace and said "I was hopeing that is what you would say!"
This is a combined gift for our 3rd and 4th anniversary (we didn''t exchange gifts last year)

Costo''s jewelery is rated VS1/2 or better and color is I or better. I compared this one to 2 others there and it was the whites of all of them and it really does sparkle. The center stone is .50 carat with a tcw at .60
Thanks for letting me share!!
