I'm so sorry about Rascal. It hurts. My Ninja was also the same coloring, but that was by chance. The director of the shelter recommended Slinky over the phone and when I saw him I was shocked at the resemblance.

He loves to follow the cats (there are 3 others). Snowy (white cat) is the best with him, but Snowy gets along with everyone.

Isn't that the truth! And now we're evenly balanced again. My daughter has two rescue cats and I have 2, plus the dog. It's quite the menagerie.

Yes. And in years of past there was a stigma about black cats. Long story short - when I took our two children to pick up the grey tabby kitten, many years ago. There would have been a left behind black sibling....... my son cried and we then brought home 2. Best thing we ever did.
