I''m debating whether or not to set this in a nice Stuller pendant for my mom on mother''s day. I might put it into a 3 stone pendant for her, with the other 2 stones being my birthstone as well as my brother''s.

It might end up going into a band for me with a black onyx. My fiancee wants to put it into a wedding band (of her choosing) for me. I wear a size 7 1/2 and we both like the 6mm width on my finger, but I''m not sure if this diamond (4.75 mm) would be too wide for a ring that is 6mm wide. I really don''t know what I''ll be doing!?!?

I received it Saturday & have been pleasantly surprised by it. The pictures just don''t do it justice. The hearts and arrows are exactly as those presented as "perfect" on Whiteflash''s site. There are no clefts in the hearts and they are all perfectly symmetrical (as far as my 20/20 eyes can tell), just as the arrows are.

Anyhow, here are some pics of it. I''m still trying to get a good diamond picture without any tools to show the real arrows, but I''m having a hard time & I''m getting tired. Maybe later.

Here is the link to it on Whiteflash''s site:
.385 F SI1 at Whiteflash

It scored 0.6 (EX/EX/EX/EX) on the HCA. I was a little concerned that it might be lacking a bit of contrast, but that certainly is not the case.

Thank you Lesley & Denise at Whiteflash!!

Last one for the moment. Still trying to perfect the art of centering the camera while taking all these pictures. What a pain!!!!!

Thanks, PQ!

I'll try to get home early today and get some of the real "non-viewing-tool" diamond pics posted before my fiancee gets home. I think she gets a little jealous of the time I spend on my new-found hobby.

Maybe I'll post some bigger "tooled" pics to show more detail as well.

Wow, gorgeous stone!

I'd say give this diamond to your mom for mother's day especially if you and your brother are close in age (lol)! Moms work a lot harder than most kids realize. . .just you wait till you have kids

I say give it to your mom on Mother's Day. I'm not a mother, but I see how hard my sister works to take care of her two young children (she's a stay at home mom). Seriously, my brother-in-law and those children would be so lost without her!

In our family, our mom is celebrated as much as we are on our birthdays. Us kids always say "Thanks for giving birth to me Mom!" on our birthdays. I mean, SHE is the one who did all the work on the day we were born!

By the way, congrats on the lovely stone!

Been having a hard time taking what I would consider a really good picture of the diamond itself, so I took some larger pictures of the IS image and the hearts. Both of these still could have been better, but "Oh well!".

I think I'll be putting the diamond in a Stuller pendant with an Aquamarine & Peridot (signifying my birth stone as well as my brother's). The pendant I'm looking at is the following: Stuller Pendant

What really stood out about it is the fact that it has the "ribbon" at the top of the pendant. I found this interesting since the pendant would be for my mother & she is a breast cancer survivor. Looks just like the ribbons I've seen her wearing.

Bigger pic of the hearts, but still not as crisp as I'd like.

That will be a lovely pendant! Your Mom will be sooo happy.

I like this idea the best. It would be very thoughtful. Mother's day is coming up!

I love this idea! It seems to incorporate several important things for her all in one simple piece. It's a very thoughtful gift.

You could even have it made in rose gold, like the pink breast-cancer-awareness ribbons.
