I *love* the scent of carnations We used to have these tiny (naturally) lavendar hued carnations in our yard when I was a little girl - the blooms were only about 1 inch in diameter and they weren''t quite as ruffly as these - but they had the most AMAZING carnation scent!! ooooh I wonder if I could find those online and put them in my yard!!!! Thanks for sharing!!

I love it too - to me it is a spicy scent :} The tiny carnations here are just called miniature carnations...one of my favorites - because you always got more flowers giggle...not that I am greedy - giggle :}

Yes - and they are already almost a week old - that is why I love carnations - they last so much longer - have had them last a month here :}

Yes it was Kaleigh...I used to buy carantions for my mother quite often when I was working...and when Strm was here he would buy her roses as a thank you - so guess between the two of us we have taught my Dad ;} giggle - he never used to buy flowers but he is starting to get a spark into him now ;} giggle
