My Leon is ready! I have some questions for Leon owners please...

Hi everyone!

So, my ring is done and ready to ship! Needless to say, I''m pretty excited, but I have a few questions for Leon owners who have been through the full process with him...

1) Has he provided you with any suggestions for care / maintenance / cleaning? I''ve e-mailed him to ask this but haven''t heard anything back from him. My ring will be a micropave solitaire.

2) Does he take photos of all of his creations, and, if so, has he e-mailed copies of the photos to you? Does he post photos of all of his new stuff on the website? My fiance does not want me to see it until after he proposes, so we''ve asked Leon not to post a photo on the website until afterwards, if there is any possibility that it will be posted.

Waaah, I thought we''d get to see pics of your yummy ring! But I guess we all need to wait until you get to see it first. Give Leon a call right away (or have your FI do the honours) so as not to spoil the surprise. He seems to be slow to respond via email but there is always someone available to answer calls! Can''t wait to see pictures!!! Your stone is just deeee-licious.

there's a thread on here that with Leon recommendations for cleaning his rings. i'll hunt it down in a second.

there are been a few gals to receive pics before their rings were shipped to them. i'd call leon and ask.

Hi Bem,

I have a Leon and he did not take photos of mine-I think he takes photos and posts them if the ring is a style he doesn't already have on his website-I could be wrong though.I did ask him for pics, but he never replied to my e-mail! Maybe you will have better luck as your stone is way bigger than mine was!

Congrats on your upcoming ring, it will be beautiful! If you''ve specifically asked him not to post pix at this point, I''m sure that he will honor that request. On care and maintenance, I just picked up my ring from him recently and asked about this - as the other link said, he just recommended a drop or two of dish soap in water, let it soak a bit, gently brush with a soft baby toothbrush - he said this would really do the trick. I have 3 sided pave on my band, he said def. NO ultrasonic, and also that all the things that people sometimes use -- ammonia, vinegar, whatever -- he feels are unnecessary. I live within an hour or so of NYC, he also said I could stop by yearly and he would be happy to check the setting, prongs, stones, etc. and I will definitely do that.
