I originally posted these pics to RockyTalk yesterday and realized this was where I should be (to brag shamelessy as I am instructed to do !)
I just upgraded (for the fourth time) my wedding set. This go around I got a 2.22 ct square cut emerald in a pave band. I also got a new pave wedding band. My husband got me turned on the the "Asscher" cut when he bouught me 1.5 ct tw earrings for Christmas two years ago. Since then I have been a convert. (I used to be a princess cut gal, still am- so I like the square cut - but I guess I like to mix it up a little.) My last set was a three stone princess with a 1.12 ct center stone and 2 x 0.5 ct side stones; I had a matching 1 ct tw five stone wedding band. I still love that set, but there is something to be said about variety, right?
I''ll post a couple of pictures. I can''t seem to get a good hand shot without the center stone looking like a piece of grey granite. It does NOT, I assure you look like a piece of grey granite in real life. (My husband has cautioned me against wearing in in the sun because it does love to flash and blind !)
