My first gem! And it''s not mine!

I''m so excited! Too bad it''s not for me. FI and I got it for our officiant who is one of the most wonderful, peaceful, sweetest people you could ever meet. She has done an amazing job working with us so far. I had a feeling she was a gem person and FI''s mom (close friend of our officiant) confirmed this. Woo hoO!

Info from the site:

A flawless lavender amethyst from Namibia in a fancy oval cut. A lovely color with magenta and blue flashes typical of "Siberian" amethyst.
3.33 carats, 11.8mm x 8.7mm
