So my engagement party invites came in! I am trying to save tremendously on all the invites for everything so I picked out something simple but cute.

Thoughts?

I'm going to add a little rhinestone to the invite where the ring is on the picture. My fiance and I are hosting our own engagement party...it will just be our immediate families and bridal party.

This is just a sample off the website:

They're adorable, and I like the little jewel idea...but I worry, is that your actual info? If so, you may want to edit it out!

Tammy, thanks :)

Nooo worries, not my actual info this is just a sample off of their website.

Cute! I like the rhinestone idea.

Thanks! 36$ for 20 of them including shipping and envelopes! :)

They are wonderful
Classy and cute at the same time
I have had good results using fabric glue to
attach gemstones to all surfaces as it dries clear and "rubbery".

Perfect, thanks for the suggestion :)

Do a trial run first. You'll need less glue than you think.
It's quite sticky. I put a tiny bit on a toothpick and kind of twirl it into a little ball.
put the ball on the proper spot on the paper. You may need to push it off with another toothpick to make it "let go"
Place the stone on the glue ball and press gently.
It dries to a rubbery consistency quite quickly.
Don't let my poor instructions scare you off.
A little practice will make perfect
I have done it many times with great success
It's my way of using up all those $1 gemstones from Thailand.
I just don't want you to ruin any of those lovely invitations.

AutumnNovember,

Can I ask which website you used? I am planning a shower and bachelorette party for my brother's FI and I love the style of those invites.

I used weddingpaperdivas.com ....they have AWESOME invites there with reviews from those who have purchased them :)

What if I used the little gems that come with that really sticky adhesive glue on them already? I used them for other invites and they held up well. Thoughts? :)

Those are really cute!

That would probably work fine.
They don't have the weight that real gemstones have.
I just had my doubts about some glue like Elmer's holding.
