My dress!

Hi Ladies -

So I finally decided and ordered my dress a few days ago, and just had to share! It''s TOTALLY different from what I set out to buy, but it just feels right when it''s on. Our wedding is going to have a vintagey/rustic chic feeling(ie. chandeliers hanging from the trees, and we are using my grandmother''s antique silver candelabras...), and is outdoor/tent at my parent''s house.

The dress is very lightweight - all of the fullness in the skirt is from layers of chiffon, there isn''t a crinoline, so it''s very easy to wear.

Mine will be in all ivory, though. Here she is!

Well the reason I was hesitant to post pics, is because the sample was a bit too small, so the lining was making the dress sit higher up than it should - so it doesn''t really look like the one in the pic. The sales associate held it around me in the fitting room the way it will sit and I

it that way.

mscushion - I''m so glad you said Midsummer Night''s dream! That''s exactly what I said when I put it on and was the look I was going for

EM1 - WOW! That is so nice! Thank you, you made my day!

The SA wants me to go back in early January for a re-measure because I''ve lost some weight, and hopefully I''ll have better fitting dress pics then. But these will have to do for now!

It looks fantastic on you. It reminds me of a dress that was on once wed earlier this year or late last year. I believe the bride actually wore a sweater or something with it. It''s not the same dress but it has a similar feel. I loved that wedding and I imagine yours is going to be just magical. What month is it and where?
