Wedding My dress is in!!!

Sorry ladies -- no pics for another month!

But I got a call that my dress AND veil are both in -- 3 weeks early!! I am super excited. My mom will be in town for one of my showers on June 14th, so I''ve made an appointment to go in and try it on right after the shower. They''ve given me a 30-minute window and they told me that under no circumstances should I leave the fitting room, because there''s a good chance it could get trounced on or dirty. Ordinarily they only allow brides to pick up their dresses or do fittings through private appointments during the week. I can understand their concerns and of course I don''t want my dress to get filthy, so I am hoping that we can get some decent photos through a cramped fitting room on that day

I am a little nervous, just because the one I tried in February was too small in the belly and bust area. They ordered up at least a couple of sizes (I think maybe 3) because I was in between measurements, and I told them to just go ahead and order up so there was no pressure if I didn''t lose weight. So I''m nervous that it will fit, but also I guess I''m kind of glad that I have a month between now and then to really step up the gym routine and start getting in the shape I''d like to be in for the wedding!

Are you definitely going to hit the gym this week coming up?

I was really sick last week, but have started hitting the gym hard over the weekend. I am trying to focus more on strength training/resistance rather than cardio right now in an attempt to "lean" up. I really HATE cardio and I never really see any effects from doing it alone, so I''m focusing on weights 30-40 minutes, and swimming. I feel really good thus far, so we''ll see if I have any noticeable results in June
