my dress is in my grubby lil'' hands!

hahaha! it arrived on my doorstep today after having to be shipped since we moved. i tore that box open & put that thing on. i hadn''t seen it in months & months. lesson learned: it''s nearly impossible to put on a wedding dress by yourself & really impossible to get pictures that are worth a crap when you''re in said dress. so, here''s me in my dress (pronovias "harlem") w/my shoes & veil.

what do we think of the veil? right now the lace is just pinned on so i could lose it if it looks stupid w/my dress. opinions??

SHOES!! can you tell i''m pumped about my shoes?! my mom''s reaction was, "you look like dorothy, only w/blue shoes." to which i replied, "well, i do love wizard of oz!"

btw, i got completely fried at the lake sunday, despite spf 50 sunscreen. i''m pathetic

My MIL was shocked about my colored shoes too. It seems that the generation before us really doesn''t grasp the fact that you can wear colored shoes on your wedding day!

Mine too! She threw a fit about my red shoes! But she got over it.

I love the whole look! The lace looks great with the dress!
