I''m really happy with the way they turned out so far. I''m still trying to figure how to word something like "Do you think you''ll make it" The chapel only hold 50 unless we upgrade. I dont think we''ll have anymore than 32, but you never know. Any ideas? Let me know what you think about the Cards. They dont have to go out for a few months, but I get sooo excited!

They look great!! I wouldn''t worry about actually writing "do you think you''ll make it." More than likely, your guests will reach out to you once they receive their save the date. I heard from a LOT of my guests after my save the dates went out, especially those who would NOT be able to come. Good luck completing them and mailing them out, how exciting!!

Ditto! Beautiful!

Off topic: Also wanted to say Little Miss Sunshine I love your name and avatar!

Oooh they''re lovely. I love the light pink font contrasted with the B & W photo. Very nice.

very nice! you don''t usually expect a reply from a save the date card. you get that after you send the invitation.

congrats princessD! one our good friends got married there and it was very very nice. i was expecting elvis but it was very elegant and tasteful.

i dont' think you need to ask in the save the dates if they will come - like other posters have mentioned, the invites will serve that purpose. but it does make it so that you can call around and get a preliminary sense of who will and who won't be able to come.

i don't know if you are open for any edit suggestions - if not just ignore my comments but if so, i would suggest a little different wording that might flow a little better and i hesitate to use the word 'want' in an invitation

please do with this what you may!

have chosen April XX, YYYY to tie the knot. Please keep this date open as we would love for you to be with us to celebrate our special day. etc etc

Ringster..please I love suggestions. I didnt even realize what I put until I just read it over again, lol. I took exact words from another save the date invite just like the ones i made. Very good, thanks! I love suggestions!

Hi Princess D,
You might want to stay consistent with "they" or "we" You start out with one and switch to the other. Sorry, I'm a teacher, these things leap out at me. "They" perhaps indicates that parents are hosting..."we" more that you are doing it, but I could be wrong about that. It sounds like you want to say "We hope you can join us for our celebration..." or something of that nature. The way it reads, you are being sorta wordy without getting at the "lmk if you are coming!" which you really want to put in (subtly of course), but which comes later with the invite. If your wedding is that cozy, then you can totally call everyone over a few months to get the headcount. Nice colors and design!

hi princessD, i''m glad my suggestions were helpful. i like what swimmer wrote as well!

and i love the look of your save the dates!

They look beautiful-really classy!

I love them. Good work!

Swimmer, I see where you are coming from, but does it sound funny saying our names then putting as the day we will tie the knot? I''m really confused now, please help
