"too good to be true".

I'm new to these forums, but I felt compelled to post since I'm new at this.
I recently got this diamond and setting combo from Blue Nile:
http://www.bluenile.com/round-diamond-1-carat-signature-ideal-cut-h-color-si1-clarity_LD01546640

http://www.bluenile.com/diamond-engagement-ring-platinum_7814

From what I've learned, I went with the best cut (Blue Nile Signature Ideal) and went with H for color (since I read platinum settings don't require the most colorless stone & the setting also has H color diamonds).

It's 1.08 ct but the length and width dimensions are close to that of a 1.14-1.15 diamond (which
is also the max carat weight the setting would take)-so it'll look just as big and cost less.
I'm happy with the table and depth percentages and the girdle, culet, and flourescense characteristics all are acceptable.

Clarity-wise, it's an SI1 but I am hoping it's eye clean. The GIA report mentions no clouds and the only inclusion(s) listed is/are near the girdle, which can be covered by a prong (if even visible) when it's mounted. Most SI diamonds I saw even at VS1 or VS2 clarity almost always had comments in the GIA report saying "clouds or (pinpoints) not shown" but this one doesn't mention anything, so I hope it's as good as I think it is. I just find it strange that it's listed as SI1 even though the GIA report shows less inlclusions than some higher clarity diamonds I've seen online.

So am I worrying too much about the clarity?

Numbers look good to me.

Do not go by the clarity plot to judge if a stone is eye-clean or not. The only way to tell is to ask the vendor with the stone in his hand.

Hi MKV

Numbers look promising as far as can be told without an image, looks like the grade setter for SI1 clarity is the feather and a pinpoint, you cannot tell from a clarity plot if the diamond is eyeclean or not so ask your BN rep to check. Check also the feather doesn''t reach the surface and isn''t a potential durability issue, this is rare in SI1 but best to check.
