Hi all!

I just wanted to share what I just received this week. I was actually looking through old watch listings and ended up finding this seller, who is based in the UK. I looked through the rest of the items up for bid and found this lovely. It was listed as an aquamarine ring with diamond accents from the Art Deco era. It is stamped 18 ct and PLAT. I am still researching to see if I can make out who made this little beauty because part of it is worn off. I love the crown on the stone and there is actually a diamond shaped culet that I hope y'all can make out in the close up pic. It has a slight window, but I don't mind, considering its age.

Here is another pic at an angle to try and show off the culet. It was a nice surprise to see this because I never realized that colored stones were cut like this back in the days. It makes sense though.

I like the ring pretty well, windows bother me so it moots my enthusiasm, but it's a very pretty ring.

Super pretty! The color of the aquamarine is so light and fresh. Nice find!

Ooh, I like it! Traditionally light blue has not been my color but the more time I spend here, the more I find that changing...

Thanks Nsmike, distracts, and sydneyatl! :) I do love when I can add older pieces to my collection.

I finally managed to get some outdoor shots.

Gorgeous aqua! Please can you share the seller; I'm in the UK and always struggle with finding UK based vendors.

Thanks, theredspinel! I have never seen an aqua in person before this purchase. It was dirty when I received it, but it cleaned up very nicely. I will eventually take it to my jeweler and see if he or his team are capable of rehabbing the millegrain, which is worn in some spots. Sure, the seller was "trunkylyndapip" with 100% feedback on ebay, with "no reserve/no buy it now" auctions. There were a mix of items, but all were vintage/antique. I also really wanted a mourning ring that was in really amazing shape, but couldn't afford the price it ended up going for since I won this ring first. I am definitely very happy with this ring. I hope this seller has more goodies up soon.
