A funny thing happened last night to me with my secret bridal magazines I kept, I got them from a bridal show I attended with a friend who got married ... plus I bought one a few months ago to keep up to date. My SO was cleaning the house last night and going through things, he was naming off things asking me what he can toss and what I want to keep, it went like this: "US weekly?" toss "2007 Cosmo's" toss "old Avon catalogues" toss "Brides Magazine, and a 12 month planning calendar" ... ummm keep lol! BUSTED

Hysterical! Bride is such an exciting word! I love the Martha Stewart Weddings magazines. When I was 16 I started buying them monthly and sstashing them and making a folder. Such a nerd and my boyfriend has no idea about that little guilty pleasure! I haven't bought one in years, but sooo excited that I get to start up sooner than later, once it's official. Enjoy every minute with your new magazines!!

My mom asked me the other day to pick out one or two bridal magazines and she'd get me a subscription.

My only concern is I don't want to get sucked in by all the wedding ****. I want to have a budget friendly wedding and I'm afraid that if I start seeing pictures of amazing detailed oriented weddings it will make me want all those things even though I know they aren't necessary.

Ditto, everytime I pop into the book store on campus.. it's my guilty pleasure. I haven't bought "one" yet. I'm saving that for post Porposal : D
