Thanks to everyone for helping me wade through all of the dress photos. I appreciate all of your kind words and helpful comments. For someone who is as indecisive as me, your comments REALLY make a difference. I can look at the photos at home and consider all that all of you have said.

I tulle on the Casablanca definitely bothered me when I tried the dress on (luckystar, we may share a brain....hehe!), but now that I look at it in the photos, I see that it really isn''t as poofy as it felt. And it really does look much neater than the Maggie. The woman at the store said some of the loose tulle can be flattened a little by stitching it closed.

It''s just been a frustrating experience because I''ve run out of time and haven''t found a dress that spoke to me like everyone else seems to have. Has anyone else felt this way?

I felt the same way - while I hadn''t ''run out of time'' I had definitely run out of patience and was starting to wonder if I would ever have *the moment* that everyone talks about!

Here is what I would do:

1. Keep shopping!! I know this may not be an option, but I certainly wouldn''t want you to feel as though you were settling, even if the dresses you are looking at now are gorgeous! I tried on a lot of beautiful gowns, but I''m really glad I held out.

2. If you hadn''t told us that you neither of these dresses necessarily ''spoke'' to you, then I would have gone with the Maggie. I think you look incredible in it and I think your body looks amazing in it.

3. The Casablanca is also very nice - I''m one of those girls who doesn''t want to buy a dress that I will only like if it has certain alterations though - maybe I don''t like the risk? I dunno - it''s a very nice dress, but the tulle would bug me too.

I''m not sure if I was helpful at all, but I wanted you to know that I felt the same way - lots of pretty, but no magic moments. I held out and found the one!!

Good luck! Bottom line is you will look incredible no matter what you go with!!

October 2008- Thanks for telling me about your story. I definitely feel better knowing I''m not the only one having an experience like this. The Casablanca DID speak to me in the online photo when I first saw it; I even put it as my desktop computer background. I guess that''s why I decided it''d be worth driving 90 miles to see over the weekend. The Maggie didn''t speak to me in the same way the first time I saw it, but I think it''s great.

Hmm, blech. A part of me says this is my only wedding dress, so I should keep looking this week, but a part of me says it''s only a dress. It will be beautiful either decision I make.
