My bengal/Manx kittens are home!

We have brought home our kittens! They are a Bengal/Manx mix. Dad was full Bengal and Mom was half Bengal half Manx, so these cuties are 75 percent Bengal.

They were pretty scared last night and would run when we would walk near them. They slept in their litter box! Today they are already much better. They aren''t meeeing as much and are sleeping comfortably in their kitty bed.

The orange one is a boy, and his name is Leo. The tan one is a girl and we have named her Ava.

OOOH too cute. I thought it was funny how you made the comment of them sleeping comfortably in their kitty bed and then the next showed that Leo was quite comfy, Ava not so much thanks to Leo. Sweet babies. I love me some kittens.

They have both warmed up a lot. They play like mad ... and then they crash and sleep for hours! They''re either playing like crazy or super sleepy. No inbetween. They do really well at night, now. We keep them in our bathroom (where their litter box and food and bed is) at night and when we are away from the house.

Sweet Ava

She is still a bit flighty. If we try to pick her up she usually runs. She will come near us when she is playing now, which is a big improvement already. I really want her to get to the point where she asks to be petted and picked up. They are both pretty shy still... I think the breeder just had too many kitty litters and couldn''t socialize them properly. I am thankful we got them young so that we can try to get them used to being picked up, etc.

Ava''s eyes are more of a green color, while Leo''s are more orange/yellow like a typical Bengal.
