I decided that I wanted to do a little stacking set of prong set rings, since I literally own almost no prong set rings. My goal is to use three small gems, about size 5 mm - the plan is to do a blue Ceylon sapphire (which I need to find), a tsavorite (which I have picked out already), and this little mahenge, which is the first one completed 
I lucked out with this little baby. It's the perfect size for this project, 5.5 mm, .85 carats. It is perfect for this open prong setting as there are no windows and the color is just beautiful, it needs no help from a setting to look great - which is what I am looking for for this project.
This one is definitely nicer than the pair I had bezel set, so I'm posting pics of that pair for comparison. I am really happy with this little baby. This is one of those gems that looks so pretty, it looks fake, lol - you know what I mean?
