How beautiful and elegant! Congrats!

What band will you wear with it?

I really like the look of a thin rounded band. So, I'm thinking I'll ask Mark to do a simple 2mm band that will match. I seriously just love the way the bottom of the shank looks: so perfectly simple and elegantly rounded. I think it will look beautifully classic and timeless. On a side note, the ring is made so that the band should sit flush.

In addition to liking the way a plain band looks, I do a lot of outdoor activities and a plain band is something I will be able to wear most of the time. Also, I have a feeling that my fingers will want to grow after having a child. Therefore, I think it would be best if I get a ring that can be resized easily, and I do not care for the way in which partial eternity bands can rotate and look off center.

But, I told my fiance that a thin eternity band would make an excellent 10th anniversary gift. Hint. Hint. ;-)

  I think your ring is just about perfect - gorgeous AVC in a classic, elegant setting. It looks absolutely lovely on your tiny hand. Congrats on your engagement!

It's GORGEOUS, and a K with blue fluor? What a great find! Congratulations!

I know! I was so excited when it showed up on my daily GOG AVC search. I was slightly nervous about the K while waiting for it to arrive. Not because I thought it wouldn't be beautiful, but I just didn't know if people would judge it as inferior because of its (beautiful) hint of color. I'm not typically concerned with what others think, but I couldn't help but wonder in this situation.

When I finally saw the diamond, this concern instantly dissipated. It looks absolutely, completely white 95% of time, and 100% of the time from any kind of a distance. The other 5% of the time, I can see a hint of creaminess under the table. And I love this. It is like my little secret, and I think it lends a wonderful extra characteristic to the diamond. An example of this is when I'm in the car on a bright day -- I think this may be because there is a lot of light, but the roof is casting a shadow over the stone so the disco ball isn't turned on. (The way white light, color light, and pastel colors come flying out of this stone is simply amazing!)

Wow - it's so sleek and elegant, but it's still got personality! Love it!

prettylights, what a supremely pretty ring, congratulations!
I am the proud owner of an M colour AVC and I know just what you mean about the creaminess and I completely
agree that these diamonds really do shine even more in the lower colour grades.
Your K is gorgeous, and the setting is very elegant.

Do you mind to share what camera you are using, your photos are really fabulous.

Doesn't get more classically elegant than that :sun:

I used my fiancee's Canon Rebel Xsi, the stock lens, a macro filter, a tripod, and a lot of patience with the auto focus in the macro mode. (One day I hope to get my hands on a macro lens.) I'm not a photographer by any means, but with a little trial and error I've been able to produce some pretty good pictures with this camera.

Classy and the cut of the diamond is really interesting.
