Note it does not look that much smaller than a 2.26 asscher.

No I don't wear them both together.

Wow! Gorgeous rings! I love your Asscher. How stable is that setting?

The stone in the setting is surprisingly stable.
It grips the stone VERY tightly.
I've worn it almost three years now.

Eventually I'll get a nice platinum setting made.

Finding a well-cut Asscher is much more difficult than finding a well-cut round.
I cannot recommend Good Old Gold strongly enough.
Put them to work finding your dream asscher.

GOG was a joy to work with both before and after the sale.
I was a fussy and difficult customer, but they were very understanding and supportive.
But more importantly, I think GOG has connections to the best asscher cutters.

I will admit that something rubbed me the wrong way before I actually worked with GOG.
But now I chalk it up to differences of personal style, and I highly recommend GOG to my closest friends.
They got the goods.
