You can "get away" with a G. Those two look nice. VS1 is pretty much 100% not risky.

G VS2 is the sweet spot for a lot of folks, since you're still colorless, and VS inclusions are just that--very slight. I have a VS2 and a 30x loupe and still can't see the inclusions very well, so a VS1 is very safe.

if you really wanted a F color stone go with an F VS2. i'll be very happy with a G VS2.

thank you all for your advise. As I mentioned before I'm taking G, VS1 based on a budget limitation.

But is it a safe bet to go for a F VS2? Which would be a better compromise slight color or inclusion?

Based on the images can anyone spot any obvious inclusions? I don't know what to look for

you'll be 88% safe with VS2 clarity.

Came down to these 3 choices, any suggestions?

Advise anyone? On what my selection should be based upon?

Need idealscope image.

Hi all,

Thanks for advising me on getting the IS images. Here they are, I would value your feedback! Thank you.

All look pretty good - dark red.

Just curious, what are you guys exactly looking for when you look at an idealscope image of the diamond?

I like the 2nd one. It's got the nicest IS in my opinion. That's the one I'd pick.
Which did the gemologist pick?

the gemologist picked the top one - citing "Of your selections, diamond 377 (1.52crt H VS2) has the best light performance, featuring excellent fire, brilliance, and scintillation as well as superior polish. It has an excellent cut and I'm confident you'll be pleased with it when you see it in person. It'll look fantastic mounted in any setting."

I'm a diamond newbie (so read w/ grain of salt), but here are a few links:

http://www.ideal-scope.com/default.asp (see youtube on page)

Basically, the redder the better, and the more symmetrical the better. I believe your first IS image shows narrow arrows, which probably implies a larger lower half percentage. Read more about what that means here http://www.whiteflash.com/about-diamonds/diamond-education/facets-the-lower-halves.htm
