How exciting! You know I was thinking last night (when I was trying to fall asleep) how my wedding day is still the best day of my life! It was so perfect and beautiful. I am so excited for you all to experience that.

Goodness, seems like a lot but mainly small stuff and then week of things.

The biggy is to get Wedding Bands ordered. My jeweler is overnighting a sample band today so fingers crossed I love it.

* Finish favor tags
* Print table numbers
* Final fitting for dress
* Order flowers (DIY''in it)
* Pick grooms cake
* Finish BM gift totes
* Flower girl basket
* Wedding announcement
* Buy Signature Mat for guestbook
* Book honeymoon
* Make veil
* finalize logistics of the day
* write ceremony plan

Tacori- I so hope this is the experience I have. We have kept everything pretty low key and I hope that doesn''t detract from the day.

Julesbeth- Are you ready? NO (emotionally yes). Stressed? A Little. Excited?? Excited doesn''t begin to describe how I am feeling. FI and I have been together almost 5 years and we have known each other for 11. I am finally marrying my best friend!

I seriously just shed a tear! lol!

We are torn between Acapulco and the Riviera Maya. I think we are leaving Monday morning and staying thru Friday so we have the weekend to recover from it all! lol

I want to get on and book it but FI is being wishy washy on it. I suppose we could go spend a week at the condo in New Mexico....I wonder what is fun to do up there?

Anyway, I recall your prior post now re: your boss''s place in Mexico. Is that one of the places your considering? Why is your FI wishy washy about booking the trip? Does he want to go somewhere else?

Thank you for complimenting my kitty in your other post. That''s my boy Cayman. He''s been with me for 10 years. I adopted him when he was 8. He is the cutest cat, much more so in person than in my avatar!!!

We were but FI just didn''t think it was a good idea to accept an offer such as this from a colleague, which I completley understand.

He wants to go up to the mountains for a 6 day road trip...it would be fun, but I want the BEACH! I actually have enough airmiles to fly us both to Playa del Carmen and back so it would just be the hotel.

I suppose going up to the condo (i''ve never been) and seeing some of New Mexico would be fun too though. Can you help me plan a cool NM road trip???

So, it sounds like he wants a more active trip then? I''m assuming he wants to be outdoors, hiking, etc. We should find you a compromise trip -- beaches and some hiking . . . no?

We have never done a roadtrip together and we have always wanted too. We go on a cruise every year (last one in may) so I can see why he wants something different.

By the way, if your FI wants a more active honeymoon, I'd go with Playa del Carmen over Acapulco only because there are several ruins to visit such as, Chichen Itza and Tulum. Not to mention it’s a only a ferry ride away from Cozumel, but that's just my opinion. Let us know what you decide.

Hurricane season though??? Should I be mega worried?

Argh, totally forgot about this! Hmm, I think this is a personal decision, but since Mexico is one of the most consistently affected countries in the hurricane belt, I'm not sure if I'd chance it. Maybe you can just monitor the weather situation and then make a decision closer to the date? I've been to Mexico in August and September several times without problems, but somehow a honeymoon seems different, you know?! Darn weather

Funnily I have not been able to escape a bridal shower! My WHOLE company (189 people) received an email this morning informing everyone that I am getting married and there is a shower on September 10th in my honor.

25 days left.

I feel good, but if I think about it too much I start to get a little overwhelmed. MOH and I did a mental walked thru this weekend and came up with some good notes. At this point we are praying for no rain!

About half of my people have RSVP''d hopefully we will have more trickle in this week.
