Taking my girl to Japan and going to propose over there.

Looking for suggestions form those who have been as to the most romantic places in Japan and any possible Ideas on how to propose.

Was thinking about the following ideas:
* Drinks overlooking Tokyo at the Park Hyatt New York Bar (as in the movie Lost in Translation). Then a night out in the town then end up overlooking tokyo tower somewhere where I pop the question
* A night at Hakone, after the kaseki dinner go for a walk and find a quiet spot by the lake, and pop the question under an almost full October moon
* Climb to the crater of the active Mt Aso volcano and pop the question (not so romantic but different)
* Sitting by a rock garden in a Kyoto temple

Would like to here of others opinions on something unique and romantic

Thanks
R

IF (and it's a big if) you can find a time to go when there aren't a million tourists, Kiyomizudera (a temple) in Kyoto is incredible. It's on a mountain, just so peaceful and beautiful.

Or Kokedera (the moss garden temple) in Kyoto, except that you need to write and make a reservation. However, it is guaranteed to be FAR less crowded/touristy as a result, and it's truly beautiful (and it's a UNESCO World Heritage site!).

ETA: Or go to Ukai Toriyama for dinner, and pop the question in the garden after watching the fireflies come out.
