I seem to be getting the hand go this photo thing. I know that asschers are popular on this site, so I thought you might like to see some other pictures of my new asscher. They weren''t taken by me (not my fingers!). They were taken by Peter Toracca, who cut this beautiful stone.

Beautiful stone Gailey. Are you going to set that beauty into a pendant??

Ooh - what a beautiful stone! It''s a nice balance between depth of colour and ability to see into the stone. Gorgeous.

I''m leaning that way, I must admit. I''ll discuss it with a jeweller I know who makes award winning pieces. Here''s a picture by Phillip Schmidt, www.platinumsmith.com.au that takes my fancy

I''d love to be able to tell you it''s going to be set imminently, but alas no.

I''m a professional gardener and we are just entering silly season (Annuals) here in Calgary. I''ll get to it just as soon as I can!
