More fun,, drug raid next building over

2:30am drug raid next building over, about 20 cops milling around.
One got away and they are looking for him and think he is armed.
Would be nice if they would shut up so I could go back to sleep.

Here the drug raids lately have been on Sheriffs and highway Patrol.
HINT If your salary is 38K a year don't buy a 6,000 square foot house, a new Lexus AND an Escalade.

One morning Federal Marshals ad DEA came and raided my next door neighbor's house and took him away. He showed back up last week but now he's wearing one of those house arrest ankle bracelets.

They were still there at 5am with 2 crime scene vans.
All quiet now.
Haven't heard how many were arrested.

Errr. At least there wasn't any shooting Across the street from my parents house is a family that we are pretty sure are selling drugs, but they are quiet and super friendly with us (I've known them since I was about 10) so we can't be sure. However, it didn't stop somebody from driving up in front and shooting in their direction a few years back!

It is weird it is normally pretty quiet around here just an occasional domestic but 2-3 times a year strange things happen.

Several years ago this guy from town who was kinda weird, got busted-had a meth lab in his house. ATF, FBI-it was a huge thing in our little town. Even more so b/c the guy had the house booby trapped to the teeth, so there were all kinds of explosions and shooting going on. He apparently tried to hide the evidence by blowing part of it up, 'cept he was standing right there, so he got a little singed haha. Spent some time in prison, and now he lives up and around the block from us. We're thrilled.

Karl, sounds like you've got some interesting characters for neighbors as well!

Ain't nothin' wrong with a drug raid here and there, they're fun!

A couple weeks ago, we did one at a place where two of our suspects were hanging out outside, and as soon as they saw us they ran as fast as they could back inside. That's a bad scenario for us because they could be running inside to grab weapons, or they could be running inside to try and destroy the evidence before we get in there. So we pretty much jumped out of our cars before they had even stopped and chased them inside before they could do much. Talk about silly.
