More fun - choose a diamond

Ok, I''ve only posted a couple of times before, but have been lurking for a long time. I thought I found a diamond, (EGL SI1/H) but was disappointed when I saw it. Good cut, but color and inclusions were BAD. The grading was definitely soft

- so I''m going to spend more money and get something better.[$$)] Belle - you suggested a great selection from WF, but it was sold before I could get my hands on it.

Ithe idealscope reports don''t look as good on the 1.5s, how much will this effect everyday appearance? I''ve seen AGS SI1/H''s and have been happy, as long as their eye clean. Based on conversations with my love, the diamond does not need to be "perfect" Thoughts? Opinions?

Shay - guilty as charged! I couldn''t resist, and I grabbed that diamond. It was my favorite of the 4 as well. Just wanted some other opinions. I was concerned whether an ACA was worth the extra $, but it appears that most here on this site are very happy with them.

Anybody have opinions on e-ring metal for the H color? Would it show too much color in plat? I did see the thread of J''s in plat, and they looked great, but I''ve held H''s in my hand, and none looked as good as those pics! White gold is an option, but I''m afraid with the nickel alloy it will turn yellow - any experience you''d like to share with WF white gold settings? Will WF do a palladium WG and does anyone have one?

I believe that is their choice, yes. I however would go for the plat. if it is in the budget. They will be equally white settings, and they will both be better than fine. That H will be unbelievably white.
