More about I1 clarity...

First of all, thank you to everyone who responded to my post about buying an I1 stone over SI2. Your opinions were very helpful.

For those of you who were pro-buying an I1 stone, tell me, what vendors would you trust buying an I1 stone from?

I would agree with AL's vendor notations.




I do know that those who have bought I1's recently were from Dirt Cheap Diamonds (Canadian Girl) and also SuperbCert (Patty). Jax just bought her I1 Eightstar pendant from Steve at Dems Jewelers.




Would venture to say that with an I1 you may have to wait and be a bit more patient than with something more commonly available (e.g. SI) because you may run across some I1's with great cut but that have black inclusions, which may not be acceptable. So the hunt and search may take longer to find that rare eye-clean or 99.9% eye clean white inclusion I1.

But it's definitely NOT impossible!!!
