I was wondering if anyone has ideas for what my mom could do with her hair for the wedding. She is 55 and lowlights her hair so it is a mix of gray and brown. It''s a tiny bit past her shoulders and she really wants something that is at least partially down. It can''t be flat on top or too fancy... she''s normally very casual and not too up on the latest styles. She was thinking maybe half up with a little french twist at the top, has anyone seen this before? I''d love some pictures to show her!

Also, does anyone remember the thread posted a while back about what to do/eat and avoid before the wedding? I''m 2 weeks away so I''d like to find it.

hmmm, maybe half up with a really pretty clip holding it? If your mom is normally pretty casual and has said at least partially down, then I wouldn''t suggest anything too too far from her daily style. I know my mom wants to do her own hair/makeup, which she''ll probably do the same way she does every day. I know she''ll look very nice, but important to her is looking like herself.

I''m sorry I don''t have any more specific suggestions/pictures for styles. Maybe try looking through the usual websites for bride hair ideas and see if anything looks to be MOB friendly?

I don''t have the thread about what to eat before your wedding, but I just received my InStyle magazine, and they have an article about exercising and eating to prepare for a trip to the beach s!). I thought the article would work for weddings, too. It gets specific about what foods to avoid and eat to keep a flat belly, etc. So, if you can''t find the thread you are looking for, check out this month''s InStyle.
