It's reassuring to see the rare person who is keeping the old ways alive.
I can't imagine how much he needs to charge (though totally worth it) for this relatively very labor intensive organic produce.
As I learned, from the video I posted, the difference in cost between the old and the new way of farming cranberries must be astronomical.
I'm sure his berries are worth whatever he charges, and I gotta hand it to those who can afford (or sacrifice their FCD budget ) to go strictly organic.
There are modern-day versions of this berry picking device. Works great for cranberries, blueberries, and huckleberries! Any loose leaves fall through the "fingers". Just search Swedish berry picker, and a plethora of different versions will display.
