Praying my ring sells today. I am on the hunt for a bigger diamond. I cleaned mine this morning to get ready to meet the buyer and it was so beautiful I almost hate to sell it but I know I will get the DSS again so I better do it now.

Good luck! Hope all goes well with your sale ;)

Me too, I am excited

Oh, good luck!!!! I know exactly how you feel!

I know the feeling. But you gotta do what you gotta do.

Good luck with the sale and with the search for a new stone!

Ok it has to be THE best cut, looking be in 2.2 ct or larger, 8.4mm or larger, do not want to go lower than I in color and VS2 in clarity, will take SI1 but only if absolutely eye clean, budget 22000
Prefer AGS CERT

For the best cut diamonds, I think you are going to either be at SI1 or else a little smaller. This is 8.2mm, but I really like fluorescence for I color:

The WF ACA's currently in stock are a little larger and higher than you budget (H SI1 because there aren't any I VS2-SI1's):

No James Allen True Hearts with your specs and GOG just has a I SI2 in your range:

But you can call GOG and ask them to check their H&A suppliers.

I know it isnt a branded cut but its larger than you wanted, triple ex, nice clarity and color, and has medium flour so should help the color and medium rarely has anything negative about it. I think its a really nice option without having to make any concessions, besides cert and 1.5k. Worth an IS i bet.

I don't think that is going to be a hearts and arrows superideal cut.

Yes, it is free but not the most efficient way to approach the search. It is very possible it is a virtual stone considering that they don't show any pictures and just a link to the GIA site. And in that case, I'd personally rather see someone use a PriceScope vendor to call in virtual stones since they make this site possible for us to use and enjoy. But it is far easier to have a vendor contact their hearts and arrows cutters to check to see what is available rather than going through hundreds of virtual stones that probably are not hearts and arrows, if she wants a top cut quality diamond.

this isnt a hundred different stones its one particular one that seems like it could be perfect. And instead of compromising on size and clarity, it only takes a minute to shoot them an email, where they would them provide a picture and an ID. I had asked them for one on a stone and returned the info to me in an hour or two. And sure they arent a PS darlin' but they have very good customer service and have reasonable prices. No reason to ignore good company and a possible good stone because its not from WF or BGD

Okay, I am not going to argue about this. Maybe when she said she wanted THE best, she didn't really mean it. I took her at her word and tried to stick to hearts and arrows stones. If she just wants a GIA XXX and not a superideal cut, then that does open up a lot more stones from the virtual inventories. And in that case, I'd use a PS vendor to call them in, including the stone you listed (other than I'd want 34 at least for a crown angle). BG is not a pricescope vendor, either, but he does have superideal cut stones that he has cut for his in-stock inventory.

Autumngems, maybe you can further clarify what level of cut quality you are looking for!

Thanks all, keep them coming, I am reviewing all. I would like a upgrade option too. Does BGD have upgrade option?

Yes, they do. Theirs is a little more restrictive in that I think you have to upgrade in two categories: size, color, clarity. You'd have to check and see if that is current, though. (Just checked and this is still correct for BG Signature and Blue stones.)

I have also contacted Martin as USA Certed, he was supposed to send me a list but I haven't heard back from him :-(

In that case, it sounds like you are willing to look at virtual stones that are not hearts and arrows, superideal cut. Is that correct? USA Certed is more of a drop shipper with virtual stones, and I don't know if they provide pictures and idealscope images.

I agree with DS here. If you want THE best cut, you're probably not going to find that stone in a list of virtuals from a drop shipper. If you want an ideal cut - not super ideal cut - then you might want to take a look at others. I think that the H 2.24 stone from WF that she referenced would be a wonderful stone but it is ahead of your price point. If the 22k figure is firm, then I'm afraid that some of your requirements may have to bend a bit. Doesn't mean that you can't find a beautiful stone - you can - but perhaps not one of the super ideal cut stones.
