Mom in Surgery

UPDATE 1/26- MY MOM WENT HOME!!!!! YIPPY!!!!! ONE WEEK IN THE HOSPITAL, A MAJOR SURGERY, BUT SHE MADE IT!!! THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT!!!!

My Mom is having a major surgery Friday at 1PM PST---

I still can't believe it! I am really sad because I can't be there....I feel awful!!! I am going the following weekend when she will hopefully go home

...ANY PRAYERS/THOUGHTS are really appreciated.

I think, to relax my nerves and calm my heart, I will read all the posts I have missed on PS during the first two weeks back at grad schools...

A little while ago I got a call from my Dad...There were some complications with the surgery, and it took longer than they had thought---but she is now in recovery

. We will know more in about an hour or two....
