I recently discovered www.modcloth.com via Pinterest. The site has a lot of fun, funky, and retro-style clothing. I was so happy to find tops and a tote illustrated with graphics of three of my favorite things: Poe, typewriters, and Alice in Wonderland! I'm envisioning wearing the typewriter top to work with a pair of pinstripe pants and a long string of pearls. If you're in the mood to browse, check out the shoes! Very cute, and pretty reasonably priced to boot.

I discovered modcloth a couple of years ago when planning my wedding - we got the first round of bridesmaids dresses there. If the design had been available in my size, I would have bought one for myself too! They've got beautiful and unusual clothes.

I've gotten a couple things from there and been happy w/them. They do have a lot of interesting and quirky things that I like. Also got my brother a set of T-rex salt and pepper shakers for his birthday this year hahahaha-he's s body builder and we always put our arms in our shirts to our elbows and tease him about how short his arms look since they're so muscular.

I love how quite a few of the reviewers post pics of themselves wearing the items they purchased. It's helpful to see how the clothes look in "real life" on different body types.

Yes, I love that too. It's very helpful. And I like seeing their measurements and what size they ordered.

I buy from them, too. I find the reviews so helpful! There have been one or two things, that surprised me- like a dress was a totally different weight fabric than I expected, and some of the lower price point stuff is a little flimsy- but I don't mind that for one season trendy bits. But I've never had to return anything, so I am a pretty happy customer!

This is a serious possibility for me, too. I received my first delivery from them yesterday, and I love everything that I ordered. My shopping cart is about to runneth over!

There is some nice stuff there! The descriptive "stories" are a little too hipster for my taste but I can happily ignore them. Has anyone ordered shoes? There are some cute boots.

I have a pair of flats in my shopping cart right now. I'm always a bit hesitant to buy shoes online because I have a hard time finding a good fit due to my "snaggle toes."

Yes; I found them true to size and super cute. But, they are one of the things that was a little flimsy. I mean, for under $50 I don't expect real leather super high end boots, so they are about what you'd expect for the price point. That said, they are coasting into their second (third? I forget...) season and are doing just fine as fall/winter occasional wear shoes. I'd buy shoes from them again.
