MM vs ring size question?

Do you think that a 5.8mm to 6.0mm solitaire will give good finger coverage on a size 5 1/2 finger? I want it to look blingy, but not sure that size stone will give me the look I am after. If any of you have solitaires in this size range and finger size, Please post pics.....tia!

There's that handy coverage percentage chart... it's in this post toward the bottom: https://www.pricescope.com/wiki/diamonds/diamond-carat-weight According to it, a 6.1mm on a size 6 (rounding up) would be about 39% coverage of your finger, give or take. Depends what you are used to

If you have only ever worn smaller diamond it will look huge. If you are used to wearing larger diamonds it will look small.
