Just so you know the extent of my OCD, I paint by my computer and when I need to procrastinate, I look at PS and all the gem/diamond sites. That's getiing me in troubles!!!! :naughty:

It's beautiful Missy! I love the colors!

nicely done! um, could you move it over to take a picture of the one behind it, too? i'd love to see that one as well.

Debby, it's GORGEOUS!!! And is the one to the right of it a water lily? I WANT!!!!! :appl: :appl: :appl:

Beautiful painting. You're very talented.

Movie Zombie, your wish is my command. It's a quick (3 hours-ish, all at 1 time with no underpainting)

Hey Irishgrrrrrl! Yes, that's a waterlilly. I'm working on making like a revolving round of small paintings, all matted and framed, that I can sell at nice lil prices. Can't always be selling large, massive time consuming oils on canvases

Beautiful, you are very talented.

That is absolutely gorgeous! I have NO artistic abilities what so ever!

I don't mean to threadjack...but could you check out the newest ink thread? I posted there with a question about your removal and I don't want to clog this thread up with talk of it! Thanks!

Simply beautiful. I have always admired people who could paint. That is quite a talent.

Do you paint in media other than oils? I tried watercolors once but I found it harder than acrylics. You may have inspired me to paint again. Haven't done so in years!!

It's great MissyD! I love the color palette, it's rather cool in tone, but it's not lifeless.

BTW, I can't wait to see the guinea pig painting.... wheeeeek!

Missy - from a fellow painting enthusiast, your work is REALLY stunning. I hope you'll post more.

Edited for a period.

Wow, you are so talented! :wavey:

Beautiful work, Debby! (And you are beautiful, too!).

So pretty and detailed! Were you going to paint any of those white fluffy ducks that another PSer posted (forgot her name)?
They were so cute and I bet you could really do them justice. Probably wouldnt be a small painting though.

Yeah... I am so painting those geese! Probably start that in a month or so. I'm gonna do a larger canvas of that. Have to get this series off the ground first. I want to have around 30 small paintings done and then replenish them as they get sold (hopefully). Then I'm making the geese. And another poster just put up some pics of her lil chihuahuas and there's one pic I might use as the basis for another painting. And then there's DreamerD's dauchies! PS'ers have the cutest animals.

I love it! I did not know about the underpainting aspect of painting... can you tell me a little more about it?

We lost our guinea pig (King Disco) almost two years ago. I have a real soft spot for 'em. You've really caught the life and joy in the painting that is inherent in all guinea pigs :D Great job

Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss. Guinea pigs are so freekin cute. I have 2 that live in my studio and they keep me company while I paint. Don't know what I did without them. They lighten the atmosphere tremendously... and every time I come in I have to remember to bring em a lil treat or I won't hear then end to the wheeek wheeeks. Thank you for your comment, davi. It makes my heart feel good.

And thanks so much, Oranges

Love the Lily, but the Pig stole my heart~

keep 'em coming :wavey:
