Got this from Freke a couple weeks ago. 7.1mm. Just stunning and completely gorgeous. I can't wait to set it..will have to wait a little while tho, I want to get my AVC five stone and wedding band completed first. Just wanted to share the lovely mintiness!

If this can be adapted for the cushion, I'd like to do this in rose gold.

Pretty minty cushion!

The ring in the pic is also beautiful. May I ask where the pic is from?

Very nice, Packrat. The cut is gorgeous -- faces up bigger than 7 mm. I like your ring idea too & rose gold, yessss!!!

Love that stone, and your ring idea sounds great!

Thanks guys! I just love it-perfect shade of mint for me!

I'm sorry, it's something I stumbled across on here a few years ago..I'm not sure where it came from!

Yum :lickout: Very nice! Love the cut on that stone!!

What a lovely stone! I love that minty green =)

The cut on that stone is lovely and I adore the setting you've chosen because it lets the gem speak for itself. A good jeweller/artisan will have no problem adjusting it for a cushion. The only thing is that the finished ring will look quite different because it will be much more square and broad rather than long and lanky like your inspiration ring. To make sure it retains the elongated effect I would be tempted to have the shank made quite delicately.

Can't wait to see it finished!

Thanks everyone! That's a good point about the setting LD..when I do it, I'll be asking Hunt Country and I think they can execute it properly!

The stone is just lovely and I love the way it looks like a flower in the photos you've taken

Have you looked at it against rose gold yet?

Though mine is a bit bluer the rose brought out the stone color quite a bit, that part I did like indeedy :appl: . I may very well unhalo this stone at some point since I don't wear it as much as I should, but do it as a rose gold solitaire.

Would love to see how you tackle your project!

I agree, I think rose gold would really bring out the blue. Enjoy your new stone!! Looking forward to what you decide!

I've not looked at it w/rose gold yet but I know I *definitely* want to use it w/this stone. I adore mint/rg together and it's a combination I've wanted for such a long time!!

Great cushion, packrat! And I love rose gold!

Rose gold will be beautiful with this. I can't wait to see it set.

I can see rose gold doing that stone justice, bring out the blue hue. The setting is just perfect for it too; a lovely design.

I second the rose gold setting for that lush cushion of yours!

That stone is lovely! I think a similar setting in rose gold will be really pretty. :)

Thanks everyone! I'm *hoping* to do it this year, tho it will be later towards the end of the year probably. Hoping to have Hunt Country do it..I love their prongs.

Rose gold will be beautiful with this stone :) What a lovely stone at that :)
