Anyone know what''s going on? I mean... COME ON!! MAKE UP YOUR MIND BUDDY!

NFL.COM

My fiance asked me this morning that "If Brett Favre signs with the Vikings, can I get a jersey?" Me, thinking the guy is nuts and can''t make up his mind, said, "Sure honey! If he signs!" hahaha.... I didn''t know jerseys are in the upwards range of $100-$300!

So, what''s going on here? Anyone?

I'm not sure if you've already heard but he definitely signed! The press conference is on at 6 pm EST. I know because my SO is rushing home to watch so we can't commute together tonight. haha

My SO is a HUGE Favre fan and has already ordered a jersey but it's backordered!

ETA - Check out the Vikings homepage http://www.vikings.com/

Puh - lease...

I live in Minneapolis and we had to watch the breaking news of the Favre car chase as helicopters followed his "parade" from the airport to the Vikings training camp... UGH! There is more going on in our world than an over the hill quarterback who needs to recognize his time has come and very long gone!

I would never wish harm on anyone but I would like to see him trip in his first practice and dislocate his shoulder! Nothing permanent, just sore for long enough for him to realize his arm is not that healthy!

I bet it must be really annoying with all the coverage in Minnesota but....

last year Favre brought a team that was 4-12 the season before him up to 9-7 and the year before that he just barely lost the NFC Championship so I really don''t think his time is long gone.

You must really love your FI.

I'm in Minneapolis, and I'm keeping my TV off tonight. I hate to picture what the front of the morning newspaper is going to look like.

I am very tired of him and all the drama. I was hoping we''d seen the last of him.

OK, I know this thread died a couple days ago, but I just received this from my aunt and it was too funny to pass up. (She lives in MN)

You do realize that the jets had several other players on their team last year besides Favre. Yes the jets did improve their record but Favre DOES NOT deserve the credit you are giving him!

Yes, I do :P It was crazy. Their systems were all screwed up and I was hung up on several times, called back, hung up on.. oh dear. Then, in my email yesterday they said, "You didn''t place your online order- come back and we''ll give you $10 off!" Well no duh! I had to call it in because it was screwing up online!

doh!

He''s playing tonight. I presume you will be watching. BTW, the morning paper on Wednesday was exactly as I pictured it. Luckily, he didn''t mess up the Sports section, because they gave him his own.

Like he was the Olympics or something.

Jodi, my cousin is a super diehard Packers fan...and he posted the SAME comment on his FB update this week!

The whole thing reminds me of Michael Jordan and his retirement/comeback/retirement/comeback/blah blah blah/make-up-your-damn-mind-already. I really get annoyed when athletes do this. I''m of the mind that they need to end things while they''re still considered great, and bow out of the game with dignity.

As a lifelong Vikings fan, I''m disappointed. I am watching the game right now and all they''ve talked about is Brett Favre. What about the rest of the team?!?!

Really?? The Jets had other players besides Favre???

So if Favre doesn''t deserve any credit for improving the Jets'' season, what other drastic change happened to the team to bring about the turn around?

Of course, the quarterback can''t throw the ball to himself...and Jones had a great season, the offensive line was solid. But who threw six touch downs in one game?...that was Favre.

Yep I turned it off...

P.s. Jared Allen IS MY MAIN MAN! FI refers to him as my "boyfriend" ;)

Wow...What will the jets do without him?

And I never said he doesn't deserve ANY credit just not all that you are giving him.

In the final five games of the season-who threw nine interceptions and only two touchdown passes?...that was Favre
