Minneapolis MN Appraisal

I have a loose diamond that I want to get appraised prior to having it set and such. The main reason is that the place I am having it set has indicated that they will foot the bill should something happen during the process so I want to do a before/after appraisal to verify that no damage has occurred and if it has that they will be held accountable. I am very unfamiliar with the varieties of appraisals that can be done and would like input on what types I would need along with individuals/places who can do it.

We have an independent appraiser who doesn’t work for us but uses the lab in our store on Thursdays. She would be willing to visit with you and help you to put a replacement value on your diamond as well as a description of exactly what you have. Should anything happen you''d be able to find a suitable replacement based on the cert and/or this description. She works on an appointment basis. I hope this post is not a violation of policies. I saw no one has answered and wanted to help – admin please delete if inappropriate.
