Might propose with antique ring at Grand Canyon

I'm looking at this ring:









We're planning a little trip, but the destination is not set in stone. I would love to pop the question at the Grand Canyon with an antique ring. I'm shooting for a non-traditional ring.

Aiming for something different.

Ring specs:
A cool looking and eye catching antique engagement ring! Features a beautiful VS clarity G color Natural Diamond. The ring is 8.66 mm wide.

Stones Total Weight approx. 0.08 Carats

The ring will probably need to be resized before the trip in February/March. I doubt I will be able to get her actual size, and will probably be guessing about her ring size. If I enlist friends or family to help me find her ring size, it will not be a surprise to her. She hardly ever wears jewelry.

I went ahead and bought the ring, plane tickets, and booked the room. Hopefully I can get her size and get the ring sized to fit.
