Oh sorry.

Here is the link to the BN: http://www.bluenile.com/round-diamond-1-carat-ideal-cut-i-color-vs2-clarity_LD01506697#grading_report

And the HCA:

Selected: 61.7% depth, 56.1% table, 35.3° crown angle, 40.5° pavilion angle
The result is for a symmetrical diamond with a medium girdle and very good polish
HCA scores were adjusted Dec. 15, 2001 and Feb. 6, 2003.

Factor Grade
Light Return Excellent
Fire Excellent
Scintillation Excellent
Spread
or diameter for weight Very Good
Total Visual Performance 0.6 - Excellent
within TIC range

This diamond actually popped up late last night and caught my eye. Of course, BN doesn''t provide anything else except the certificate, which makes it very inconvenient.

Looks good too from the numbers. Could be good.

Depends on you I guess. What is it that you like about the BN stone? Price?

I'm not loving this stone, angles in particular. If it were me, I'd stick with the first one. I like that one much better. (better balanced angles)

The thing that caught my eye was the HCA. It''s also AGS0, but just a little more money. Although it is smaller.

I was just concerned that BN doesn''t provide any other documentation or photos. I know that diamonds have to be seen in person regardless of numbers and stats.

I could purchase both and return one, but then my OCD would kick in. At one point, I''m going to have to pull the trigger and decide on a diamond and not "wait a few more days until something better comes along".

If this is to mean that you think the .06 score is "better", it''s not. Anything under 2 just means proceed to get further info on the diamond. Also, Gary notes that many people prefer stones that score in the 1-2 range.

Now, you could have them both sent if you''d like, but the first one is definitely cut better than the second. It''s numbers are in the best range for overall performance.

Awesome!

Thanks so much. I''m walking over to the bank as soon as I get done typing this!

You''re welcome, and congrats!
