So, my b.f. was pretty loose with his credit card spending habits in the past, and he would keep saying, "Once I pay the card off then I''ll start saving for a ring..." Wellllll, he doesn''t know it, but I caught a glimpse of his latest credit card statement on his desk last time I was at his place (I PROMISE I didn''t look on purpose!) and his balance was THIRTY dollars. He was making it sound like hundreds! So I think he''s been lying to me to throw me off! I don''t like liars, but I think I can forgive him this time I''m HOPING we might be getting closer and closer!!! *happy dance*

My BF and I had a finances discussion last night among other things too. It can be so stressful but relieving. Unfortunately we are both saving to have him move with me. not for a ring yet. But yippee for you!

Yay, I''m doing a happy dance for you! It sounds like he''s trying to throw you off so that the ring & proposal will be a surprise.

It''s probably a little frustrating to wait until all his credit card debt is paid off, but it''s great that he''s making that a priority. Credit card debt can be so incredibly hard to get rid of.

Ahhh! He told me tonight he has $300 left to pay off on his card and I KNOW I saw $30 not $300 on his statement! AND, he said it in such a way that I know he''s lying through his teeth (I know these things after almost 6 years together!) So, I think he''s still trying to throw me off! I think I''ll just play along and see where this goes
