Mica has a Baby Daddy..

Ms Mica is hopefully going to be a mum!
Her baby Daddy is Barrett who is an American Grand Champion both in the showring and on the Field. Salukis are hunting dogs so a sport they love is Lure Coursing. It’s just plastic bags , not live creatures, and they chase around a course. Barrett was recently imported into Australia and this is will be, hopefully, his first natural Australian litter. Barrett is also a “model”, his talents are many. Hoping for 5 little Miclettes.

Yes, Micas first litter. Her Breeder is doing this, not me. It’s a lot of work. Mica will stay with us until week 8 then back to the breeder for whelping. We will get Mica back after the puppies are weaned and off to their new homes.

I just helped a friend (breeder) with her litter of Portuguese Water Dogs. Champion lines. Mother unexpectedly rejected them and she hand fed/ raised them after 1 week. What an a amazing (and exhausting) process to be part of - a true privilege! I wish you, the future pups and the breeder well!
