It depends on where you want to go in Mexico. There are great places on the Mayan Riviera. We were in Playa del Carmen over Christmas/New Year''s and it was absolutely fabulous. Lots of great restaurants, bars, hotels with all inclusive packages. We had a wonderful time. The beaches are gorgeous too. Check it out if you can...
too funny, i literally just started looking into this as a possibility this morning- and was looking at Playa del Carmen no less. i don''t know a lot yet, and i really should be studying for my monday exam
The Sandals resorts offer a free wedding with some minimum stay at their resorts. Sandals is all-inclusive anyways, and they take care of lots of stuff for weddings. I looked into this when Fiance was being a slacker in wedding planning.
Palace Resorts & Occidental Resorts have great wedding packages. A good friend got married at Moon Palace (South of Cancun) a few years ago and we all had such a great time. I would also suggest Mayan Riviera/Playa del Carmen or Cozumel. Both Palace & Occidental have new resorts on Cozumel. I had a really awful experience with Sandals so I''m not a great reference for their resorts... I will say that I thought the food at Moon Palace was head and shoulders above what I''ve had at other all-inclusives.
I think both resorts have a free basic wedding package, then you can pay a little more to upgrade or add certain items if you want & they have a wedding planner/consultant there to help you plan and organize everything ~ my friend said her planning was virtually stress free.
