DOOM avoids this. Instead of shrugging your shoulders and mumbling that you're "not ready" to get married, you confidently say that before you get engaged, you must first complete either a Deliberately Obscure Objective...or hit some goal that involves Money.

I've read this website and also agree that it's hilarious. I think some guys take it to heart, though. A friend of mine totally plans to marry his girlfriend and is sort of made a game of making her wait.

I also really like that article on "if she's the one" - at the very least, the quiz brings up great topics that should be thought about and discussed. Now I kind of feel guilty for being a girl and reading this site - it's like "for guys' eyes only"!
