Hi All,

My mom passed away a couple of months ago. I am looking to buy a piece of diamond jewelry that I can wear every day in remembrance of her. I'm thinking of a diamonds by the yard bracelet? Any other suggestions? The budget is around $2,000. Thanks!

First of all, I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my mom when I was five so I understand wanting a memory! I saw your thread, went away and thought, then came back. This is mushy but I like it: how about a halo pendant; the center diamond being you, the halo being a lovely eternal hug from your mom. It would be a lovely piece to pass on some day. It also will be kept close to your heart!

OMGosh..I was just thinking the same thing! I love the sentiment and its exactly how I would want to remember my mother.
(There to protect me and support me.) I wonder if they could do it in a bracelet?

Or you could do a double strand bracelet with a diamond on each strand (bezel set) . One representing your Mom and the other
you. I think yessie has a three strand like I'm thinking ...let me find a link.

Here it is...

I love, love, love the OEC. That is on my list. Thank you! I'll post pics when I get it!

I am sorry for your loss :(( . I too lost my mom recently and have been wanting to memorialize her and our relationship. I like the idea of the halo and what it signifies. How about something with blue sapphires, which I have read symbolize heaven. I personally found my moms favorite t-shirt from MOMA that had the infinity (side ways figure eight) sewn on. So I bought the Tiffany infinity double chain necklace. I love the double chain signifying us both being together for infinity. (Actually dad passed 6 weeks before she did so it had more sentiment with the double chain). :((
Again I am so sorry for your loss. I feel like everything I buy is now what my mom would've liked. So what would she have liked? Maybe do something in that vein..

ETA. I also love to wears moms jewelry, so I hope you have something to wear as well. In fact the trinity ring in my avatar is moms.

Sandeek, I am sorry for your loss too. I think of her all of the time, every day. I like the blue sapphire idea as well. I think I want a bracelet that I can see all day--a necklace is beautiful but only other people can see it! I'm going to have to search for a little while until I find exactly the right thing. I also love the halo idea....

tyty333, thank you so much. I'm sorry for the loss of your mom, too. :(( I LOVE the link you sent!

April baby, I am sorry for you loss as well. Thank you for your sweet response and suggestion. I love the halo idea is a fabulous idea! I'll keep you posted.

tyty333,

I just realized that you said "would want to remember my mom", and I see that you still have her with you. Cherish the days; they are precious!

+1

Oh gosh...my mother is still with us but if she were not, a halo would be a great way to symbolize our
relationship... or the double/triple strand bracelet.

Edit - I just saw your other post and daily think of how lucky I am to still have my parents. They had
Me young so I'm hoping for many more years together.
