Got this in the mail today, it made my day

This is a very special gift
That you could never see
The reason it is so special is
It's just for you from me

Whenever you are feeling lonely
Or even feeling blue
You only have to hold this gift

You can never unwrap it
Please leave the ribbon tied
Just hold the box close to you
It's filled with love inside

In her letter she remembered Nanny and said it was a memory box. To hold it and remember all the good times. The prayer she sent was so touching. It's written as if the loved on that passed away was speaking to you. It's long so I just typed a bit of it...

I see the Christmas trees around the world below
With tiny lights, Like Heaven's stars, reflecting on the snow
The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away that tear.
For I am spending Christmas with .... this year ( insert what makes you feel comfortable)

I hear many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,
But the sounds of music can't compare with the choir up here.

When I was hospitalized (when I was 11) I got a box like that with the same poem on it...it was great. i loved it. Until one of our puppies got ahold of it...it was a wooden block. I still have the block and the card that came with it. I still get it out from time to time. Its a great tradition. Its even a better idea if you have no $$ for Christmas gifts.

I love the other poem that was written too. I love getting new poems and quotes to add to my collection.
