Memoire Eternity Ring 1 cttw vs 1.5 cttw

Hi All,

I got pricing from Pearlman''s and am trying to decide between the 1 cttw and 1.5 cttw M quality band. Here are the stats:

1 cttw: For a size 4 ring ( I am a 3.5) in 18 k YG the price is $2932. There are 24 diamonds at .04 ct each. Width of the ring is 2.2 mm with a height of 2 mm. They approximate the total carat weight for this ring as .92 cttw for this size ring

1.5 cttw: For a size 4 ring ( I am a 3.5) in 18 k YG the price is $4420. There are 20 diamonds at .07 ct each. Width of the ring is 2.7 mm with a height of 2 mm. They approximate the total carat weight for this ring as 1.42 cttw for this size ring

I''m not saying money isn''t an object, but it''s for my wedding band and I really want something special. Also, I may wear it alone time to time and want it to stand alone well. On the other hand, I don''t want to overpower my center ering stone (1.22 ct G/SI1). Pics of my ering is attached and on my avatar.

What would pricescope do??

Honestly, i think the smaller band would be a very nice choice. I''m not sure the difference between the two sizes would be worth the extra money.

Thanks Mrssalvo. I actually just got a lower price quote from Quest (via phone) so I may get the larger cttw ring. I''ll have to try it on with my ring and see

I tried on a small shared prong band--7 stones and I loved it. My hand is much larger than yours but the .35 ctw looked really elegant. And the price you mentioned for the 1ctw is excellent, as I was quoted close to that for the .35 ctw band (in Canada). They have a trade up policy for the band anyway, don''t they? That means if you change your mind down the road.......

I think they both would look beautiful with your ering. If you want to wear it alone the 1.5 would probably be better if it''s in your budget. Good luck
