Memento of your pregnancy, made from... Breastmilk? or Placenta??

 not quite as bad as Hugh Fernley Withinstall making pate out of placenta, but still a big NO from me.

The things people do to be "real". :rolleyes2::cry2:o_O:roll

Excuse me but NO.

Next it'll be baby's first turd.

I thought the stretch marks were enough!

No, just no....not for me, ever...

Big nope from me, but the article is I think mostly about mothers who have lost their children and want special keepsakes. Just not something that would have appealed to me.

Wow. Yeah, people do weird things when they're grieving. So what? And to some, breastfeeding is a very big deal. Not sure why anyone would shit all over the idea of a memento made out of organic material, esp on a jewelry forum where we've discussed things like making diamonds out of dead people's ashes. Maybe folks did not actually read the article, is all I can figure.

My heart breaks reading about the family who's young son died.
Clearly, this jewellery has special meaning to them.

The jewellery has no appeal to me personally, however, I'm blessed to still have my children.

This woman only had 7 months with her son, she may hold onto whatever she wishes.

This 'folk' did, and it wasn't just about those suffering a loss turning milk/placenta into a keepsake, it was also about those who have healthy living children.
